Meet Marti

I’m Marlea “Marti” Wilson, original Detroiter and Cocktail Designer. During the lockdown I tried multiple new cocktails because I knew my signature – vodka with cranberry and pineapple juice “Classic Marti” – wasn’t going to see me through the unprecedented event. I started the 3H Program, also known as the “Home Happy Hour” which went live from Facebook. After about 25 episodes, individuals began texting me for the recipes and suggestions. Then I had the bright idea to organize them all into a book for the public and to remember what I’d done.

I learned the techniques from reading and experimentation. Nobody wants a cocktail with 50-11 steps and I wanted to show everyone they could have a craft cocktail in their own home. You don’t have to be at a restaurant or bar to enjoy an amazing cocktail.

 All virtual and in person demos require a minimum of 48 hrs notice for a minimum 1 hour event. Deposit of 50% required at time of booking. In-person demonstrations limited to 10 individuals or in accordance with CDC regulations. (subject to individual event assessment)
